Are you ready to go beyond?

The Content & Event Management team is looking for a motivated self-starter to fill a Specialist role on our team. The candidate will work remotely until return to site presence expands, based out of the East Hartford, CT location, supporting key Military Engines stakeholders. Projects require planning, development and management of internal / external presentations and meetings in direct coordination with program teams, program leaders and senior executives. The ability to work with Executives and other business leaders to execute their vision and strategy is imperative in this role.

To be successful in this role, you will lead, manage, and prioritize high-visibility projects and deliverables that meet approval requirements on deadline.

You will have exceptional teamwork skills, the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities at once. 

Strategic communication skills, and project management experience are required foundational skillsets.

You should demonstrate solid business judgment that follow ethics and compliance guidelines.

Superior oral and written communication skills are essential.

You can work well independently, and as part of a larger team, in a dynamic fast-paced environment are requirements.

You are a proactive, lifelong learner who adapts quickly to new technologies and meeting tools. 

You are eager to enhance the Content & Event Management team with your capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow Pratt & Whitney brand guidelines to design and produce content deliverables
  • Manage logistics for meetings and internal events
  • Develop internal program communications (e.g., newsletters)
  • Coordinate promotional items (e.g., branded items like apparel, coins)
  • Design presentations for a variety of audiences, including internal/external executive presentations and large-scale employee communication events
  • Transform ideas into visually engaging slides
  • Execute presentations at a high capacity – ability to work presentations with ~80 slides in one day
  • Communicate information visually with the use of color, photography, charts, graphs and diagrams
  • Produce clear data graphs, process flowcharts, comparison tables, timelines, benchmark schedules and organization charts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional, consultative relationships with stakeholders and implement consultative role
  • Demonstrate ability to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance and corporate standards
  • Collaborate with team members and/or lead complex or special projects

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Business, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English or related field
  • 5+ years of applicable experience in presentation design, as well as experience with meeting and event coordination from concept to completion required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate-to-Expert experience with PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office applications
  • Demonstrated leadership managing complex media projects with experience leading cross-functional teams. The ability to execute projects with speed and accuracy by applying strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills with leadership communications
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Resourceful, proactive, and adaptable to technology, tools, and business priorities
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop or other design media
