Manager - Aftermarket Operations Strategy

Aftermarket Operations overhaul and repair facilities along with partners and customers support thousands of engine shop visits around the world each year. The Aftermarket Operations Strategy team is looking for an individual to support the Geared Turbofan (GTF) repair strategy for Pratt’s global aftermarket network. The role will work closely with the leadership team from each repair facility, the GTF industrial team, and key program and engineering stakeholders. The Aftermarket Operations Strategy Manager will support the development of Pratt’s key strategies to secure future workload, lead alignment activities, and facilitate Pratt’s participation in the GTF component repair bidding process.

Lead and manage Pratt’s participation in the GTF component repair bidding process including facilitating leadership alignment activities, setting goals, and reporting metrics Support repair units through quote tracking and management, conducting competitive analysis and providing negotiation conference support Regular engagement with repair facilities and ensure sharing of best practices Develop new and enhance existing standard work to support strategic repair and bidding analysis Utilize new electronic tools and technology to optimize analysis and engagement with repair units Ability to develop strong working relationships with business units, operations, supply chain, and finance focals in order to support cross-functional teams Ability to prioritize multiple objectives while still meeting near-term and long-term deadlines Ability to both support and lead presentation of key strategic findings to Aftermarket senior leadership.

Experience / Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience within aerospace manufacturing or aftermarket MRO environment, with focus on Operations, Project Management, Supply Chain, or relevant Analyst role.
  • Knowledge of aftermarket industry and repair station operations Familiarity with Lean Tools and Methodology Advanced problem solving and strategic thinking skills Proficient with Microsoft Office suite programs, particular Excel and Powerpoint
  • U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident Status (Green Card) is required Domestic and international travel may be required in the future (30%). Must have valid passport or be capable of acquiring one.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Materials, or Industrial Engineering is required. Related field of study or equivalent is acceptable.
