An integral part of F135 Sustainment, the Fleet Management team leads execution of Performance Based Logistics (PBL), ensuring availability and readiness of the Propulsion System for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.

As a Product Support Integrator, you will be responsible for implementing Fleet Readiness Excellence within the program to ensure the availability of the world’s most advanced fighter engine with around the clock support and integration across all disciplines of the value stream.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management (PM) for cross functional integration of aftermarket and sustainment services to include Supply & Logistics; Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul & Upgrades; and all other Integrated Logistics Support Elements.
  • Strategic, Operational and Tactical/Transactional Logistics planning and execution to achieve and maintain Performance Based Logistics (PBL) metrics for readiness, availability, reliability, and all others set forth in contract or system specifications.
  • Budgeting and planning for future task incorporation via the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process, as well as Control Account Management (CAM) and/or Contract Deliverable List (CDRL) activities inherent to execution of the planned workload.
  • Facilitate communication and escalation of fleet issues to internal/external stakeholders through the Customer Support Integrated Product Team (CSIPT) and Integrated Sustainment Management Team (ISMT).

Core processes and activities:

  • Lead F135 Sustainment execution of the P&W Fleet Readiness Excellence (FRE) procedure to include analyzing fleet data, applying forecasts, developing readiness plans, driving plan closure, and managing implementation.
  • Project manage routine, emerging issue, and critical safety campaign implementation to include Engineering Changes (ECs), Major Variance Requests (MVRs), Stop Delivery Orders (SDOs), Quality Notifications (QNs), and Time Compliant Technical Directives (TCTDs)
  • Integrate logistics support elements for the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process to align implementation strategy and address readiness impacts
  • Execute Product Health Reporting, Enact the Agile Operating System, and Engage cross-functionally to sustain F135 Fleet Readiness above 94%

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering, Operations, or Logistics/Supply Chain discipline preferred
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in Service Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain and/or Fleet Management required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contracts.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Enterprise or Material Resource Planning (ERP/MRP)
  • Experience with Product Support Analysis (PSA) or Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
  • Experience with DOD Contracting, Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Budgeting
