Pratt & Whitney has been in the digital Engine Health Management services business for many years. Recently we have invested significantly in enhancing those services with full flight data capabilities.   These include investments in big data and predictive analytics capabilities. The value that we bring to the customer via these new service offerings is recognized by them.  This role puts you in the driver’s seat to develop those service offering and to bring new customers on board. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute on the strategy to capture more airline customer by developing materials and presentations for customers to introduce them to these new service offerings.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders within the airlines, including Powerplant engineering, flight safety, DT, and legal, to drive the value conversation around the service offerings.
  • Manage the customer experience, identify trends and customer needs and build short/medium/long-term value roadmaps.
  • Regular conversation with legal both within Pratt and customer to get contracts in place to ensure compliance.
  • Work with engineering, Customer Technical Support, legal, Digital Technologies, and other support teams in Pratt to deliver the solutions to the customer.
  • Work with engineering, CTS and the customer to determine the priorities for analytics development.
  • Understand cloud computing technology and big data analytics.
  • Determine opportunities to integrate new technologies like AI and ML into the service offering.
  • Work with engineering and the aftermarket team to determine opportunities to enhance the value of this data and the Digital investments for Pratt.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or Digital Technologies is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in technology, engineering or customer support required.
  • US Person Status required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in a related field, either engineering, Digital Technologies, or an MBA and a minimum of 7 years of technology, engineering or customer support is required.
  • A passion for customer satisfaction and new technology
  • An ability to drive projects
  • Influence capabilities for a matrixed organization
  • Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead cross disciplinary project teams
  • Customer facing background with good negotiations skills
  • Experience presenting to senior stake holders
